In 1990, the U.S. government seized the Mustang Ranch brothel in Nevada after convicting the owners of tax evasion. The government as required by law, then attempted to operate the ranch. They failed and the ranch was closed with substantial losses.
As most of you know, that same government recently passed legislation to provide a $700 billion bailout of Wall Street. This means that we are now trusting the economy of our country to the same geniuses that could not make money running a whore house and selling booze.
